Hello!
I'm so glad that you're here!
The work on these pages is the result of many years of experimenting with paper as a medium, and of being raised in a family of artists.
I'm a fourth generation artist in a family that includes photographers, oil painters, and watercolor painters. Continuing this tradition of creativity is essential to me, partly because it connects me to those previous generations, especially my mom.
My mom passed away ten years ago, and I miss her still. I'm fortunate and grateful that she lived to see the beginning of my own art career. Her encouragement meant the world to me!
Perhaps you are a painter, a great cook, a computer programmer, or a stay-at-home mom building a beautiful home. No matter what your calling, when you do it well, you are creating outstanding works of art!
Perhaps this explains my unconventional choice of medium. For most painters, paper forms the substrate of their work, serving a supporting role behind scenes.
For me, paper is a vital, challenging, and colorful medium that wonderfully expresses emotion and adds a richness to the experience through the texture that it provides.
There's also an inexplicable sense of joy, comfort, and peace that infuses my spirit as a I manipulate the paper into the various forms required to tell a story.
